Born in Porto in 1997 Hugo Peresbegan his piano studies in 2003 in Escola de Música Óscar da Silva, with Irene Fernandes. Entered Conservatório de Música do Porto in 2004, studying with Maria José Souza Guedes. In 2015, he began his studies in Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo (Porto) with Miguel Borges Coelho, concluding his Bachelor degree in 2019. Also studied with pianists Elena Filonova, Constantin Sandu, Alexander Tutunov, Madalena Soveral, Luísa Tender, Paulo Oliveira, Pedro Burmester. Has been awarded in several piano competitions as: 1st Prize in Concurso Interno do Conservatório de Música do Porto (Levels B e A), 1st Prize 8o Concurso Ibérico do Alto Minho (Class C), 2nd Prize and Vítor Macedo Pinto Prize in Concurso Internacional de Música Cidade de Almada (Level V), 1st Prize and Marília Rocha Prize in Concurso Marília Rocha (Level D), Prize Casa da Música 2015 Edition. Has been performing regularly both solo and in chamber music, in Casa das Artes in Porto, Casa da Música, Ateneu do Porto, Auditório da Póvoa de Varzim, Teatro Louletano. Performed recently in 4o Festival de Piano do Algarve with Orquestra Clássica do Politécnico do Porto and pianists Pedro Burmester and Miguel Borges Coelho. Currently finishing the first year of his Master studies, with Miguel Borges Coelho in ESMAE.

Nuno Ventura de Sousa was born in July 1996. He started his piano studies with professor Maria José Guedes, in Porto Music Conservatoire. He was admitted in Hannover Music University and and in University of North Texas, having chosen the later to continue his studies with Maestro Vladimir Viardo, Gold Medal in Van Cliburn Competition and disciple of Lev Naumof. After graduating from this school in 2017, he is currently (2020) enrolled in Masters studies in Performance in the University of Music and Performing Arts in Viena with the acclaimed Professor Jan Jiracek von Arnim.
Nuno Ventura de Sousa obtained almost fifty prizes (around 40 first place prizes) in national and international competitions in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Austria, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania and USA, including 1 st prize in Santa Cecilia Competition (Porto), 1 st prize in Antón García Abril Competition (Teruel) and 1 st prize in “Manja” Competition (Montenegro), and also 2 nd prize in “César Franck” Competition (Belgium) and 2 nd prize ex-aequo in “Manhattan” Competition (New York). He also won the “CMP/Casa da Música”Prize, “CMP/Orquestra do Norte” Prize, "BPI" Scholarship (Portugal) and “Isabel Scionti” Scholarship (Estados Unidos). The most recent prizes were won in 2020, when he received the Yamaha Scholarship in Austria and the grand prize ex-aequo in the Emil Rotundu Music Competition, based in Romania. He performed in many recitals in several halls in Portugal, remaining Europe, USA and Japan. Highlights include the opening of 2016 and 2019 EDP Piano Cycle at Casa da Música in Porto and the Recitals in António de Almeida Foundation. He participated in Masterclasses with worldclass musicians such as Dmitri Bashkirov, Arie Vardi, Andrei Diev, Logan Skelton, Gabriel Sanches, Artur Pizarro, Lovro Pogorelich, Boris Kraljevic, Ewa Kupiec and Nikolai Medvedev.
