Bringing together young pianists, prestigious teachers, and the highest caliber of artists from around the world

Porto Pianofest is aimed toward advanced and pre-professional pianists who want to develop their playing, artistry, and careers. During this festival, pianists will study both privately and in public master classes with world-renowned professors and musicians.

Participants will have the opportunity to perform in beautiful, historical and cultural venues of Porto.

Porto Pianofest will expand the global network of pianists, teachers, and students as participants from around the world perform, practice, work, live, and create music together throughout the week.

Masterclasses

Each participant will receive four private lessons- one with each artist faculty member plus another lesson with a teacher of their choice – at the Conservatório de Música do Porto.

During these lessons, students will be given expert advisement in perfecting their repertoire, which will then be performed live in different venues across the city.

Selected pianists will have the opportunity to perform in informal concerts and student recitals held in venues such as, Teatro Rivoli, Casa da Musica and other beautiful music halls of Porto.
